Put Your Outdoor Space to Work
If you're running low on warehouse capacity, there's a good chance you've got valuable storage real estate going to waste outside. Outdoor pallet racking can free up your indoor space for temperature-sensitive or high-value stock while giving you the extra capacity you need.
Designed for Australian Weather
Australia's climate is brutal on outdoor equipment. Intense UV, salt air in coastal areas, and wild temperature swings will tear through standard racking systems faster than you'd expect. Storeplan's outdoor galvanised racking is built specifically to handle these conditions.
The system uses pre-galvanised upright frames with fully hot-dipped galvanised beams. This isn't powder coating or a spray-on finish. Hot-dip galvanising bonds zinc to the steel at a molecular level, creating a protective layer that stands up to corrosion even when the surface gets scratched or dinged during normal operation.
Lower Maintenance, Better ROI
Once it's installed, properly galvanised racking needs very little maintenance. You won't be repainting it every few years or replacing corroded components. The initial investment is higher than painted steel, but the total cost of ownership over 15 to 20 years is substantially lower. For most operations, that makes it the smarter financial choice.
Options for Non-Standard Loads
Standard pallet racking works well for boxed goods and uniform loads, but if you're storing timber, pipe, steel sections or other long materials, cantilever racking is the better option. We supply hot-dipped galvanised cantilever systems with the same corrosion protection, designed to handle the weight and dimensions of bulk materials safely.
