GONDOLA DISPLAY SHELVING

Display shelving for packaged auto accessories and retail products. Plan shelf arrangements around product sizes, customer browsing and stock replenishment.

SMALL PARTS BINS

Separate small components and fasteners into accessible storage locations to help staff organise stock and find the items customers need.

LONGSPAN STOCKROOM SHELVING

Shelving for boxed parts and back-of-house inventory. Storeplan can discuss longspan and RUT shelving configurations to suit your stockroom and product range.

INDUSTRIAL PALLET RACKING

Racking for palletised stock and larger inventory in the warehouse or receiving area. Specify the loaded weights and dimensions when planning your storage.

RETAIL STOCKROOM MEZZANINES

An additional storage level may help make use of available building height. Suitability depends on the site, storage loads and access requirements.

STOCKROOM SAFETY BARRIERS

Discuss barriers and bollards to help separate storage, handling and pedestrian areas as part of planning your retail stockroom.

Plan your auto parts store around how customers browse and how staff replenish the shelves. Consider product sizes, packaging, stock quantities, aisle access and the route between goods receiving, the stockroom and the shop floor.

Storeplan can discuss display shelving, back-of-house storage and additional storage levels for a new store or an existing retail space.

Showroom Shelving and Stockroom Fitout

Haymans Mount Isa is an electrical wholesale project. Storeplan’s work there illustrates how showroom displays and warehouse storage can be planned together within one facility.

The fitout included black gondola shelving in the showroom, pallet racking, cable racking and outdoor galvanised cantilever racking. The linked case study describes the systems supplied for that site.

Auto Parts Retail Storage at Autobarn Bundaberg

At Autobarn Bundaberg, Storeplan delivered a rack-supported mezzanine with steel shelving below and a combination of longspan and RUT shelving above.

The project also included pegboard, hooks and hanging rods for packaged products, belts and hoses. It shows how a retail stockroom can provide different storage locations for boxed, hanging and irregular automotive items.

Auto Parts Retail Storage FAQs

Gondola shelving can be used for customer-facing displays, while RUT or longspan shelving can provide stockroom storage for boxed products. Parts bins help separate smaller items. The right mix depends on your product range, packaging, shelf loads and the space needed for customers and staff.

Yes. Storeplan offers gondola display shelving, parts bins, shelving, racking and mezzanine systems. A retail layout can be planned around customer browsing, stock receiving and replenishment. Provide your store dimensions, product sizes, quantities and loaded weights so the team can discuss suitable options.

A mezzanine may add storage space where the building and access arrangements are suitable. Storeplan’s Autobarn Bundaberg project combined a rack-supported mezzanine with shelving and specialised hanging storage. Available height, floor loads and movement of people and stock need to be assessed for each site.
