Storeplan successfully executed a comprehensive storage project for the NSW Department of Industry - Agriculture, supporting the National Chickpea Breeding Program (CBA). This collaboration between NSW DPI and GRDC involves a significant investment of $30M to enhance the national chickpea breeding program's capacity and capability, aiming to breed better chickpea varieties faster.

The Challenge
The primary challenge for NSW DPI was to maximise the racking capacity within their new purpose-built chickpea storage facility. They had a stringent minimum storage requirement that needed to be met. The racking design had to not only maximise space but also ensure functionality and efficiency.

Storeplan provided a tailored solution that included designing, supplying, and installing the racking system, Megabins, and stock management system.
